News Update
2-10-08
-- I asked a friend that is in Art School and who was beginning a rotation
in tatooing to come up with a tattoo using simply the words "Love, Pride,
Devotion, & Passion" with my children's name on it. This is what he came up
with and I had it put on my right arm. We did it all in one setting (looking
back I wish I had divided it up) but it turned out great. He also
complemented my Popeye on the right side of my chest with Olive Oyle on the
left side.
3-10-08
- The BMW323is needed some extensive work that would have cost about $800
and Kyle had just finished checking this Z3 and asked if I wanted to test
drive it. I did and it was LOVE :-) I traded. Everyone keeps asking if this
is my mid-life crisis car and I simply respond, "I hope so, that means I am
going to live to be 104" :-)
04-12-08
- My good friend Michael got married for the first time in Las Vegas. I flew
up there to meet with him and attend his wedding. It was beautiful and I am
very happy for him. He deserves all the happiness in the world.
05-18-08
- Uneventful birthday for me -- Friend took me out to dinner but other than
that, I just relaxed and stayed home. Turning 52 was no big deal. I am
looking forward to the next year finishing my independent licensure,
continuing with my MBA, and making new friends and having fun. After my
birthday, I decided that I needed to treat myself and bought a ticket to
Pirates and Poets Concert with Gary Allan, Sammy Hagar, Keith Urban, and
Kenny Chesney. I had a blast and the 9 hour concert is the longest I have
ever been to.
6-1-08 - June is now here and I decided to update the web pages with a new
look. Jonah just got a new car (Camry) and got a promotion and raise last
month. Harry has moved to Charleston, SC, with Raven and is doing well last
I heard. Matthew is in Kuai for his second trip to Hawaii in a year -- I am
so jealous -- everything else is moving along famously. I will be spending
Father's Day with my Dad.
